How the install went
Scaffold went up on the Monday. We fitted the twelve panels on the south-facing rear roof. The cables run through the loft to the garage. The inverter and battery went on the side wall of the garage.
We upgraded the consumer unit and commissioned the system on the Wednesday afternoon.
The result
The house now has a 4.8 kWp solar system on its south-facing rear roof, with a SolaX inverter and a 13.5 kWh SolaX battery in the garage. The system was commissioned in September 2026.
